Cafe Piper @ Suomenlinna, Finland

There might be no better lunch when visiting Finland's fortress island of Suomenlinna than a hot, hearty bowl of traditional salmon soup, brimming with fish & potatoes, served with thickly sliced bread, paired with Finnish vodka. Savour it outdoors while taking in the idyllic beauty of both land & sea, scarcely an hour by ferry from Helsinki.
