Barcelona Tapas Crawl

A Barcelona tapas crawl means barging into crowded bars and bodegas, plowing through pinchos and mowing down a multitude of cured meat, seafood and cheeses, washed with Spanish wines and liqueurs for a drink-till-you-drop night that will hopefully linger in the memory long after the hangover is over.

  2. It's great to see all the tapas laid out like that...where you can take what tempts you or just one skewer or one small plate for greater variety (I believe you'll be charged by the differently marked skewers accordingly?). Here, I see the tapas are usually ordered by the plate, so you get to eat less variety because of the bigger portions (and you can't visually see them first either) >_< The tapas bars here should try to do it this way which I think is more ideal.

    1. Contact.ewew: you're right, the skewers can also serve as billing references (similar to our lok-lok sticks, kinda, heh) :D yeah, the tapas bars there can get away with offering their tapas buffet style cos they get a lot of customers throughout the night - whereas our spanish restaurants would have to prepare them to order, in order to avoid wastage :)
