Farm To Plate @ Damansara Kim

Farm To Plate specialises in a surprising pairing: Iberico de Bellota pork ribs & coffee. The former supplies the main reason for the restaurant's name, with the meat sourced from a contract farming business in Spain that's run by Farm To Plate's founders.

Baked meat from free-range, acorn-eating pigs might start from RM59, rich-textured & robust-tasting, fleshy-fatty with a pronounced flavour, served sauce-free to let customers really take in the pork. The kitchen was still fine-tuning the recipe when we visited, but we're optimistic it has since nailed the right balance. Pizzas are also available for people who need more.

Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Natural Misty Valley coffee was in the hopper last month; sip & soak in Farm To Plate's leafy serenity.

    1. Suituapui: the serving size starts from RM59, i think (that was for the plate we ordered in the pic), though depending on the portion you order, a heavier serving might go up to RM80 or so ;)

  2. Hey, how come I missed this place? LOL! I must go check it out. Kinda pricey but that's to be expected of free-range pork, Iberico at that!

    1. Phong Hong: heh, yeah, this is on one of the quieter rows of shop-houses at damansara kim - lots of parking here, heh! ;) yep, the price is definitely higher than the regular pork ribs elsewhere, but ya, true, it's of the more premium, much-prized range ;)

  5. The first picture - the tree with the couches - is very welcoming to its patrons. It has a home;y feel to it. I'm not a big fan of ribs, but that shot of coffee is definitely worth the trip. =)
