Swelling the ranks of Sri Hartamas' bakery-cafes, Pastryville is a swell entry to the suburbs.
Plenty of space & no lack of style (the inspirational posters on the walls are a nice touch) make this a likable stop for a leisurely afternoon.
Pastryville's name explains what it offers; not much surprising here, mainly familiar favorites.
For fruity fun, customers can try the flaky-buttery strawberry custard puff ...
... or an almond bun that's jam-packed with super-sticky durian kaya ...
... or a delicate dessert of mascarpone cheese blessed with fresh blueberries.
Coffee's not half-bad either; can't complain one bit about the hazelnut latte.
All in all, not a place that'll knock anyone's socks off, but it should satisfy everyone's stomach.
