Zouk opened an outdoor first-floor lounge this year, supplying views of the soaring Twin Towers in the skyline & the crawling traffic of Jalan Ampang on the ground.
Cocktails here are cheap & creative. Vodka Vitagen (!) & Rum Sugarcane Juice.
Strawberry Mojito & Sugar-Free Margarita. Not the most potent in town, but tasty enough.
Roof Garden is best relished early in the evening, long before the clubbers come.

Missyblurkit: exactly! The alcohol satisfies the adult in us, while the vitagen is for our inner child, heheh. And the rum sugarcane also feels like a unique mix, though I figure they just use the yeo's sugarcane packet drink :D
ReplyDeleteyeo's sugarcane packet drink is all about convenience. it would be quite awesome if its fresh sugarcane...hmmmm maybe i can try that at home. fresh sugarcane with rum. any day is a good day for cocktails. life is worth celebrating! cheers!

ReplyDeletekenny: heheh, those sugarcane vendors seemed to be everywhere, once upon a time. i loved watching them squeeze the sugarcane into their machines, with the juice being wrung out slowly and then plonked into a glass with nothing but its own natural sweetness and topped with ice cubes to be instantly chilled! :D
