Taman Megah’s upcoming bakery-cafe, Magnificent Park Bakery will soon serve oven-fresh comfort fare with creative flair in a fun, friendly space.

Launching in September, Magnificent Park Bakery (its name loosely translates into a tribute to Taman Megah) is still a work in progress, but it looks to be a lovely PJ neighbourhood locale.

Don’t miss the Ham Chin Pain, a delightful hybrid of ham chim peng and pain au chocolat, laced with sweet red bean paste; Pineapple Banana Danish; Honey Butter Toast; and Japanese-French Kinako Choux. Everything is deliciously done.

The Croger is a chunky crowd-pleaser - crunchy fried chicken, sandwiched with creamy curry in croissant pastry, combining the crackly flakiness of croissants and the full-bodied fleshiness of chicken burgers with mildly spiced Malaysian flavours.

Also chomp-worthy: Salt beef, thickly sliced and tenderly savoury, pumped up with pickles in beautifully browned sourdough bread, an irresistible indulgence.

Fun fact: MPB is part of the Wyld Group F&B family that comprises Eight Ounce Coffee Co, Tapestry, Good News Pizza, Maillard Grill and more.
