Yoshinari Hanare is the new spin-off of Sri Hartamas’ Yoshinari Japanese Restaurant, replacing Saisai in Plaza Damas and serving multi-course sushi and seafood lunches.

The eight-seat counter offers a calm refuge for lovingly prepared meals - highlights might comprise chawanmushi with shrimp and fish cakes, papaya shiraae salad, and sawara with lemon butter sauce, and flower crab miso soup.

Nine pieces of nigiri sushi prove fresh and textured - akame, madai, aji with the sharp zing of ginger, grouper, kombu-marinated scallop, abalone, aka ebi, ika and chutoro.
