Shobana's Kerala Kitchen @ Petaling Jaya

Lunchtime at Shobana's Kerala Kitchen (reputedly named for the restaurant founder's late mother) revolves around soulful, fuss-free banana leaf meals that recall home cooking, with flaky, fluffy shark fish puttu as one potential highlight among the soothingly spiced accompaniments for your authentic parboiled rice.

Shobana's Kerala Kitchen
357C, Jalan 5/57, Bukit Gasing, 46000 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
Open Wednesday-Monday, 8am-4pm. Tel: 03-7773-0409

  1. I love banana leaf. Never mind that many of them are getting a lot of bad press these days - I still love it! Wish we had that here.
