Eung Chicken @ Damansara Uptown

Damansara Uptown's new spot for Korean fried chicken does a decent job of whipping up wings with a solid crunch, a reasonable tenderness and fairly distinct soy and spicy flavours. For a la carte orders, six pieces start at RM16, escalating to 20 pieces for RM50. A set meal that'll easily suffice for two persons comprises 20 pieces of chicken with rice, potato wedges with a tasty dip, two bowls of cabbage salad and carbonated beverages for RM66.

Eung Chicken

  1. We love the Korean fried chicken at the franchise place here but we no longer go there as we're not sure whether there is any wheat flour in the batter or not, not gluten-free.

    1. Suituapui: my guess would be not gluten-free, unfortunately, for pretty much all the korean fried chicken joints in malaysia!

  2. The food is bad Sean, the fried chicken is over fried and dry, service was slow.. taste wise it is merely 6/10 if they are competing on fried chicken basis, they will lose to Texas Fried Chicken which is just around the corner.

For Korean Fried Chicken, taste wise it lost out other restaurants that serves the same dish. Very disappointing though.. I thought there is a good KFC outlets nearby where I stay. Hahaha

    1. Vincent: yikes! sorry to hear you had a bad experience. we were actually OK with our batch of chicken, though yeah, there is definitely space for improvement ... coincidentally, i popped into Texas Fried Chicken (in Puchong) for lunch earlier this month and i really enjoyed the chicken there - a guilty pleasure :) for KFC, i liked their recent Golden Egg Crunch chicken :D

    1. Rebecca: yeah, if you go in a group, it actually seems cheaper to have korean barbecue in kl compared to korean fried chicken :D

  6. I bought fried chicken from this cafe. What i gonna tell u, guy. the chicken very nyummy. If u like spicy fried chicken, pls order steam rice too.. My mouth will watering when i remember my last dish.. The cafe very calm.. Very suit to people having bad day.. .. But when i read at the bottom on their menu, the chicken is not come from typical farm that use hormon injection.. This is very healthy food.. That why the chicken a bit smaller than normal.. For who had late service, i think u should use ubereat or directly call to their cafe.. I also use this method when i lazy to wait . For the price, i think this cafe have low price from other korean cafe. Their employee very friendly too.

I really missed this place .. Uber eat cannot reach my place.. Waaa... Chickeennn come to meee!!..
