The Little Food Shop @ Bukit Damansara

This new neighbourhood grocery store doubles as a bustling cafe - shop for canned fare, cookies and fruits, then take a table for lunch; local rice platters include nasi ayam (RM18) and nasi lemak with ayam goreng (RM15). East or West, beef might be best, served with soupy noodles (RM15) or in a burger with fries (RM18), washed down with iced tea laced with lychee or mint.

The Little Food Shop
15, Jalan Setiakasih 5, Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. Mon-Sat, 8am-5pm.
