Owlganic Cafe @ SS2 Petaling Jaya

A meatless reinterpretation of bak kut teh, brimming with bean curd, mushrooms & a kampung egg in a light herbal broth (RM15.90 nett); nasi lemak made with brown rice cooked with extra virgin coconut oil, served mainly with vegetable sides (RM15.90); sticky millet dumplings, stuffed with chestnuts & black eyed peas (RM7.50) - Owlganic (cute name!) promises herbivore-friendly food that tastes both nourishing & nice. Complete your meal at this cafe (which is part of The Natural Marketplace store in SS2) with organic vanilla ice cream (RM11.90) & organic Nicaraguan coffee (RM4 for a basic espresso).

  3. I happen to love vegetarian/meatless food but I failed at going at it full time. Somehow I get hungry after an hour or two.
