LoKhaba @ Telawi, Bangsar

Hello, apa khabar: LoKhaba greets Bangsar this month with a mélange of Malaysian crowd-pleasers, slickly refashioned for this neighbourhood by an enthusiastic team of entrepreneurs, chefs & bartenders. Fans of spices can choose from a warming repertoire of Mee Kuah Ketam (RM22.90; spaghetti in a crab-infused broth with crunchy battered soft shell crab), Masak Lemak Itik Salai (RM22.90; char-grilled duck breast simmered in turmeric coconut gravy) or the pride of LoKhaba, a claypot seafood curry constructed with lobster, clams, mussels & prawns (RM90 for a half serving with rice & ulam); other options leap from lempeng to lontong, roti titab to kerutup daging. Pair your meal with wine & cocktails like the Lemongrass Lemonade.

  3. Oh that's what LoKhaba stands for. The sound of the name conjures thoughts of Thai or Cambodian :) Seafood lovers would not mind paying RM90.00 for that single serving of claypot seafood curry. Lots of goodies in there to dig in!
