Big Singh Chapati @ SS15 Subang

Chapati platters are this new Punjabi restaurant's lunchtime attraction - choose two chapatis (soft & fresh-tasting, oiled with butter or ghee) complemented by classic mutton rogan josh, green or yellow lentil dal, raita & kheer rice pudding for RM14.90.

Alternatively, build your own biryani platter from possibilities spread out at the open counter - moist, fragrant rice surrounded by, say, chicken masala, egg bhurji, aloo mutter (potatoes & peas) & aloo gobi (cauliflower). Peckish patrons can also order paratha (paneer, palak or pudina), washed down with almond-laced lassi or cow's milk, but for the ultimate Big Singh experience, come for dinner, when a complete a la carte menu is available - everything from patalia chicken to sarson da saag.
