Happy Creme @ KLCC & Daily Shots @ TTDI

Ice cream with honeycomb continues its inexorable march across the Klang Valley: Happy Creme hopes to become a happy stop for shoppers in Suria KLCC, offering pure milk soft serves with an array of possible toppings. Besides the basic Bee Smile with honeycomb, other options include the Honeymoon with liquid honey, Poplicious with popcorn & caramel syrup, Summertime with peach cubes & passion fruit syrup, Milo Volcano with Milo powder & Milo cereal balls, D-Light with digestive biscuits, & Sweet Pillow with marshmallows & strawberry syrup (RM10-RM12). The flavours feel targeted at the very young.

Daily Shots Cafe in Taman Tun Dr Ismail also aspires to deliver a dose of cheer through ice cream: Two scoops of gently honey-flavoured gelato with a lump of honeycomb clocks in at RM12. The prevailing issue of an overly waxy sort of chewiness remains a challenge for the honeycomb here & elsewhere. Daily Shots serves pastries, cakes, coffee & juices as well.

    1. Leo: yeah, if you have one serving of soft serve at one place and one latte at another place, you might need to fork out RM25 already for ice cream and coffee ...
