Angelina @ Damansara Jaya

Angelina is a low-profile destination in Damansara Jaya for Malaccan specialities - from pork pongteh (RM19, served with steamed rice & veggies) to chicken debal curry (RM20) to kitchen-baked sugee cake, the fare here exudes a home-cooked feel that should work for a fuss-free meal. You'll also find other comfort food like beef cottage pies, oxtail stew, lasagne, pork vindaloo & pork rib noodles. There's no corkage charge, so pay a visit to the wine shop a  few doors away before heading in.

  2. It looks like a lovely place, Sean. I like the look of the dishes, but I have to say that I eat more...well, for lack of a better term, simple meals. (just meaning I don't use a lot of herbs, spices and sauces), but my food does taste good.

    1. Linda: i do like the use of herbs, spices and sauces for food, but i agree with you that with good produce, you might not need a lot of extra stuff to make it taste satisfying :)
