V Park At Top @ Setiawalk Puchong

A calm, cooling night at V Park At Top, Puchong's closest thing to a 'sky bar,' perched on the rooftop of the Setia Walk complex.

Sure, it's only a few floors up, but customers can nevertheless enjoy a nice view of the landscaped gardens & fountains below.

V Park features Japanese fare such as eel rolls, salmon skewers & oysters with ponzu sauce. Fair enough for folks seeking the basics.

Sake, shochu & cocktails complement the cuisine. A shot of sake seems unconscionably pricey at RM38 though; the RM20 Gimlet cocktail's the cheaper bet.

There's ambition here, but a less unenthusiastic service team might help perk things up.

All in all, the setting's the star attraction. Could become a fun hangout, with a few tweaks.

V Park At Top,
Setia Walk, Puchong.

  4. People keep telling me that when I go over to KL, I should choose to stay in Puchong instead. Real happening, lots of things to eat...but I wonder if I should, especially after the news of the recent flash flood there and photos of Facebook - people sitting at Starbucks, waist-deep in the water drinking coffee.

    1. Suituapui: ooh, i'm not sure i'd choose puchong. it can get awfully clogged by traffic, and it takes a very long time to get from there to other areas in KL =)

    1. Missyblurkit: yeah, RM38 should be able to buy us a small carafe instead of just a shot. and this was the cheapest sake that they had available by small servings...
