Burgertory @ SS15 Subang Jaya

Hog heaven hidden amid hellish parking: Subang's Burgertory is a Godsend for fans of suburban hot spots like MyBurgerLab, Burger Junkyard & Crayon Burger.

Sinning seldom gets deadlier than the Burgertory Treasure, boasting a pork patty consecrated with crunchy croutons of pork lard (!!!), murderously sufficient for an entire platter of Hokkien Mee. Only RM13 (no taxes) in a set with fries & a soft drink.

For the Last Supper menu: Pork patties here come close to the Holy Grail of juiciness, transformed into burger bacchanalia when partnered with a Goliath's portion of crab meat, cabbage, cheddar cheese, tobiko & pimento sauce (RM17).

Sumo Burger (RM19). Harbors a demonic double-whammy of grass-fed beef & cheddar cheese. Offers a satisfying chew, but it could be more salaciously seasoned & perhaps complemented with savory bacon & a runny egg.

The Pearly Gates await those who resist the meaty temptations above; St. Peter will hand out Mixed Grain Burgers (RM12) of chickpea-bean patties & caramelized onions.

Fries are fine here; this just-right portion might be gone in sixty seconds.

Burgertory opens 6pm-11pm, except Mondays, with parking outside easing after 9:30pm. It's calm for now, but expect the crowds to flock here soon.

The menu calls it "crap meat" instead of "crab meat." Customers, forgive them; they do know what they do (as far as the main task of whipping up house-made buns & patties is concerned).

Best Burger ever? Nope, but that little white lie is OK. Still recommended, for the pork burgers. Plus, the folks here are friendly, genuinely friendly.

Burgertory,
8A (First Floor), Jalan SS15/4D, Subang Jaya.

    1. Ulric: ya, those are the two most inventive choices here, i think, though it might also be worth trying the "Burgertory Classic" (pork patty, crispy meat & house dressing) and add on pork bacon =)

    2. Haha...got it...Burgery Classic with pork bacon...need a runny egg to gel it together...hehe :P

    3. Ulric: it does! i guess one suggestion for this place is that they should consider serving eggs. there are currently no egg options on the menu at all =)

    4. Rats...eggless! How can tat be??? =(

    5. Ulric: let's hope they'll be egg-full once they're confidently running =)

  10. OOh I love a good pork burger!! Unfortunately, there's not much craze for pork burger here (Sydney) yet, it is still ruled by beef burger. Let's hope things will change soon, eh? :)

    1. Iamthewitch: ooh, ya, i think the tastiest beef burgers are still nicer than the tastiest pork burgers. there's something about beef that makes it just perfect to be put into a burger, and it goes so well with so many other ingredients, heh :D
