Espressolab @ The Gardens Mid Valley

Plans for a potential coffee-crazy empire are brewing to fragrant fruition, as Espressolab launched its latest branch this month at The Gardens Mall.
Earlier entry on Espressolab's original outlet at Solaris Dutamas: March 8, 2012.

Tables beside this kiosk at The Garden's first-floor bridge to Mid Valley Megamall are sorely limited and subject to the stares of passersby, but there might be no better hot spot here to hit shoppers with expertly executed caffeinated shots.

Espresso with milk (RM10), simple but so satisfying.

Other customers might try to beat the current heat and haze with this iced mocha (RM10).

What really knocked our socks off: one of the most pleasurable affogatos ever (RM14), comfortingly creamy, soothingly soft and assuredly aromatic.

This Gardens branch serves snacks _ pastries by Hiestand bakery and pretty nice croissants, filled with fresh veggies and scrambled eggs.

Fans of the Food Foundry's famed mille-crepes can also find their favorite treats here. (Eds: Received a note from Food Foundry in July that the mille-crepes here are no longer supplied by Food Foundry)

Espressolab's house-made Boston and lime cheese cakes are well worth the calories too.

Lovably luscious; for all our sakes, here's wishing Espressolab excellent luck as it expands further, including to Singapore's Bali Lane in the months ahead.

EspressoLAB,
Level One, The Gardens, Mid Valley City (opposite TGI Friday's).
Open daily throughout the mall's regular hours.

    1. Joshua: no worries. we didn't really notice any teething problems from a typical customer's point of view. but i hope your team will be able to cope with peak-hour crowds who want their coffee in a hurry =)

  13. I've tried it on their opening day since I work at Mid Valley. The quality was as good as their solaris dutamas' one, thank goodness. They told me that they're espresso + milk will be sold at RM7 instead of RM10 (hooray!) until 24/6/2012 as a special promotion :) Just some extra info here hehe.

    1. Elle: ooo, thanks for the info about the promo. i forgot to check my receipt, but i guess the espresso with milk i ordered above must have cost me RM7 too, instead of RM10 :D

  14. Am glad they now have a spot closer to my home. Was a happy camper there last weekend. Opted to walk over from home instead of growing a few more white hair looking for a car park in MV>.<
