Yatra @ Bandar Sri Damansara

Fans of South Indian fare can make a pilgrimage to Yatra, where the vegetarian biryani thali set is a totally satisfying spread for RM15, complete with tasty and textured curries, veggies, pickles and rasam.

It might seem strange for what looks like a modern cafe to specialise in Chennai-style cooking, but Yatra does justice to the culinary heritage - expect fresh, richly spiced and well-balanced flavours in crowd-pleasers like the dhosai stuffed with potato aloo masala, served with chicken curry (RM14) and wheat bread chapati with mutton keema and mung bean sambhar (RM15).

Wash down the meal with BRU coffee (RM6) and cardamom tea (RM7).

B-G-5, Ativo Plaza, Persiaran Perdana, Jalan PJU 9/1, Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.
Open Tues-Sun, 10am-10pm. Tel: 03-6262-8709
