SoloMen Cafe @ SS2, Petaling Jaya

Folks in SS2 are flocking to SoloMen for Japanese-inspired soul food: No fewer than a dozen ramen recipes are available, including the Stamina Ramen, a hearty, heartwarming bowl of wheat noodles topped with sliced pork, garlic, egg & beansprouts in broad-bean broth (RM18.80). Rice fans also have lots to choose from - we enjoy egg-rice combos, so the omelette-blanketed don with a house-made sweet sauce hit the spot for us (RM16.90). SoloMen's fare should please both young & old, though the former may be more receptive toward the contemporary coffee-based beverages served here.

  2. Your foodie trail takes you from Good Blue Men to Solo Men this week! ;) If you didn't say this is a ramen joint, I would have thought the first bowl looked like Mee Rebus...hehe! :D

    1. Contact.ewew: haha, yes, what a coincidence that it's been all about the 'men' in pj these few days :D and you're the right, the soupy ramen here seemed like a hybrid between the usual ramen that we're familiar with and a chinese-ish noodle soup :D
