Cafe Atas59 recently replaced Bangsar's Lorem Ipsum but retains the friendly, chilled-out vibe that makes it one of our favourite choices for weekday business meetings in this neighbourhood. The coffee is still satisfying, bolstered by beverage options like an ice-shaken mocha (RM15) & 'New-Fashion' (RM14; espresso with tonic), plus independently baked cakes like the matcha chocolate. For fans of Lorem Ipsum's art-jamming facilities, take heart: The brushes & paint have gone nowhere.

Atas as in upstairs not as in classy and expensive, obviously. :D
ReplyDeleteSuituapui: you'll definitely have to look up to spot it, since it's on the first floor :)
DeleteThe rent can't be cheap in Bangsar. Can you make ends meet from just cakes and coffees? ;)
ReplyDeleteContact.ewew: i guess the art jamming fees help to cover some of the costs! :)
DeleteThey are smart to rent upstairs. I love to see cafes like this that displays lots of paintings and brick a brack stuffs. Nice to see them while having chats and coffee.
ReplyDeleteTwilight Man: yep, the artwork lends a lot of character to the cafe :)
