The latest opening in an enclave of burgeoning boutique hotels, MiL Cafe offers local fare from a menu that changes throughout the week - some days, you might find, say, Penang-inspired white curry noodles (RM14.90; complete with cockles); on others, perhaps nasi lemak telur mata kerbau that's fragrant & flavoursome (RM10.90), freshly prepared to please in MiL's own kitchen. Earl Grey tea cakes & coffee are available if you're here simply to soak up the atmosphere amid the leafy walls.

MiL makes me think of mother-in-law. Can't say I like all that green on the wall, sometimes less is better.
ReplyDeleteSuituapui: i hope you don't shudder at the thought of mother-in-laws! :)
Deletehi sean. How's the white curry noodle?
ReplyDeleteHi Connie, it's not bad, but quite mild-tasting. Easy to finish. It's only available on certain days though, so you'd need to call the restaurant to confirm it's available before going.
DeleteOh yes, I noticed this acrosd the raod from stripes.
ReplyDeleteThe Yum List: quite a few hotels sprouting up in the neighbourhood! :)
DeleteThose al fresco seats look too sunny and hot to be comfortable...even for the flowers...hehe! ;)
ReplyDeleteContact.ewew: yeah, i wouldn't sit outdoors here during the daytime! :)
