For fans of fruits, this cafe-store yields a bumper crop of the orchard's fresh harvest, from Malaysian mangosteens, ciku, pomelos & strawberries to Korean pears & grapes, Spanish peaches & lemons to South African persimmons & tangerines, Taiwanese guavas & New Zealand green kiwifruits to Japanese apples.
Customers can have fruits sliced here to eat immediately - the Philippine pineapple is solid value; a full plate of sweet, succulent slices costs RM2.50. Complete your stop with made-to-order juice - the beetroot-carrot-apple combo is satisfying (RM7; no sugar added), though the speciality is freshly squeezed pomegranate juice that's a pulpy pleasure (RM15 per bottle).

Mangosteens? Are they in season? Not that I'm a fan but I hear the juice from the skin has health benefits, great for prevention of Parkinson's or something.

DeleteLemons are fairly priced and I like their description of "Very Sweet", LOL
ReplyDeleteChoi Yen: ya, the prices here seem reasonable, and i prefer sweet lemons too, haha :D
DeleteChoi Yen: Apparently there are customers who claimed that our lemons are so sour that they are actually sweet. We won't argue with that.
