Porky pleasures rule the roost at Vintage, one of Puchong's better-looking watering holes.
The char siew here is meaty and well-marinated, though customers craving a melt-in-the-mouth lusciousness might not be completely satisfied.
Pork ribs. Bony, but reasonably tasty. Just not the best in town, that's all.
On a happier note, lots of booze is offered at fair prices, including weird but wonderful white wine cocktails: Milky Way (white wine laced with milk & honey) & Daffy Duck (with vodka).
Luis Felipe Edwards Pupilla Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 (Santiago, Chile).

Ermm tht's all? Post dinner snack i assume? ;p
ReplyDeleteI deduce that Sanbanto @ Bangsar is better than here...correct?
ReplyDeleteTng: heheh, yep, we were tempted to order the pork knuckle too, but it would have been too much!!! :D
ReplyDeleteUlric: oh yeah, I'd definitely pick sanbanto for food. But for drinks, this place serves wine and cocktails, which sanbanto doesn't :D
Whoa... Puchong goes upscale? I must make it back to that country one of these days!
ReplyDeleteDaffy Duck? Sounds like my kinda drink...
ReplyDeleteP.S. *guffaws at minchow's comment* "That country" indeed. :P
min: now is indeed the best time to return, since those pesky visa requirements have been abandoned! and the embassy of puchong is dishing out passports to eat at all its border checkpoints! :D
ReplyDeletelfb: but you have nothing in common with that cartoon character! daffy's spiteful and vengeful, while you're, errmm, spiteless and vengeless? :P
wah got post snack dinner also!
ReplyDeletemichelle: ideally, i try to aim for pre-dinner snacks and post-dinner drinks! :D
ReplyDeletewow, it seemed so high class~~
ReplyDeleteit must be expensive><
hihihi, dropping by^^
xijon89: hi, thanks for the visit! :D oh, prices here are actually OK, RM30-40 per person without drinks is definitely sufficient =)
ReplyDeleteHehe. Check some past tweets to figure out why I'm totally Daffy. ;)
ReplyDeleteLfb: better to be Daffy than yosemite Sam or wile e coyote, I guess :D
ReplyDeletebut the pork ribs do look very oily... *cholesterol too high* so can't have this often.
ReplyDeleteEiling: yikes, ya, guess another alternative is to consume food that lower the bad cholesterol or increase the 'good cholesterol' levels. Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteStill. That coyote's kinda cute, no? Hehe.
ReplyDeletelfb: i dun wanna be a luckless coyote whose nefarious plots always backfire :P
