Dar Rbatia, Rabat, Morocco

In the heart of Rabat, Morocco's capital city, Dar Rbatia has been serving cherished classics for nearly three decades; the pastilla, the local meat pie, comes recommended, stuffed with shredded spiced pigeon, savoury-sweet with a heavy coating of cinnamon, sugar and ground almonds on the crisp phyllo-like pastry.
