Kedai Mamak Husin @ Idaman Robertson

Bright and breezy, straddling Bukit Bintang and Pudu, Kedai Mamak Husin is bustling throughout lunch with customers digging into nasi biryani (have it with crisp-skinned, tender chicken thigh), mee goreng (with scorchingly fiery tangy shrimp) and many other crowd-pleasers. Helmed by a warm, friendly team, it's a nice, fuss-free spot to bookmark for folks in the neighbourhood.

Kedai Mamak Husin
G-3A & G5, Idaman Robertson, Jalan Robertson, Kuala Lumpur. Daily, 7am-11pm (closed for Friday prayers).

  1. This mamak place sure looks posh, definitely not like the rest...Line Clear in Penang, for instance. They don;t look very friendly, do they? :P

  2. Mamak mee goreng mamak is one of my favourite fried noodles to eat...with perfectly runny eggs but I'm not so sure of the scorchingly fiery shrimp though...may be too hot for me to handle! >_< I like the looks of this mamak place...so clean, spacious and "atas" looking (in line with the Robertson properties in the area?) :)
