Gelataria Naturale & Gelataria Caffetteria @ Sofia, Bulgaria

Sofia loves its gelato, for good reason: Gelataria Naturale's 'slow ice cream' is truly something else, made with Bulgarian milk, local eggs, cream & unrefined sugar. Soft, super-smooth, beautifully flavoured - sample a double scoop of pistachio & almond.

Gelataria Caffetteria's offerings are more mainstream, but it's still well worth indulging in Italian flavours like cannoli & ricotta.

  1. I wonder how much they're selling these there. The ones here are rather pricey. :(

    1. Suituapui: gelato can be pretty pricey in kL too ... but the ingredients and the cost of equipment etc is high ;)

  3. I love gelato as they are very unique and nice. I didn't realise that they are not easy to make until I saw the man doing it at Mid Valley. The white carnation caught my eyes in the photo. I have never seen a white one.

    1. Twilight Man: yeah, there’s an art and craft to gelato that the makers are very proud of :) oh, I don’t know flowers very well, so I’m a bit ignorant about carnations ;)
