Felice Pizza, Luigi's Pizzeria & Cubes Pizza

Pursuing pizzas all across Mont Kiara & Sri Hartamas, starting with Felice Pizza, tucked inside the Mont Kiara Shoplex.

Most of Felice's pizzas come in the typical Hawaiian/Marinara/Margherita varieties, costing between RM18 & RM25 each, but if you're willing to fork out more, the outlet offers this 'Gourmet Pizza' topped with salmon gravlax & arugula over San Marzano plum tomato sauce. RM32; certainly not a bad pizza, but probably not one for hearty eaters.

Lots of beverages here to help wash down your pies, from OK coffee to Bright Cow Jersey Milk to cold-pressed juices.

Next up, Luigi's Pizzeria, a takeaway kiosk that opened recently inside Hartamas Shopping Centre.

Basic pizzas, pretty much what a mall-based establishment might be expected to serve; each slice, costing between RM6.90 & RM8.90, is nonetheless heavily topped with the likes of beef pastrami or Maldivian tuna with lots of cheese, olives & onions, ensuring each mouthful is flavourful. But sure, it looks & tastes like severely processed fare that healthy eaters should shun.

Final stop: Cubes Pizza, which does deliveries & takeaways from its base in Solaris Dutamas, outside Publika.

Mass-market varieties, evoking those of fast food chains; in this case, that's not a bad thing. Hits the spot with a wide range - a Greek Pizza (red onions, black olives, sun-dried tomatoes, broccoli & feta cheese), Spinach Special (spinach, roasted garlic, artichoke hearts), Shrimp Scampi (shrimp, olive oil, oregano, cream sauce), Black Pepper Salami, Pesto Chicken & more.

Piping-hot pizzas, easy to order by phone (we picked up our purchase, which was convenient), big enough both in the 9-inch regular (RM25.80) & 12-inch large (RM32.80), available in thin or pan crust versions, as well as in circular or square shapes. These satisfied our pizza cravings, so we can't complain.

  1. The first pizza looks delish. I'm weary of delivery and take-away pizzas but the ones from Cubes Pizza look alright :)
