Page 2 & Ben's Bar @ Publika

The BIG Group is putting the 'B' into F&B at Publika, introducing two more watering holes here.

The latest chapter in the BIG story: Page 2, located above Journal By Plan B and billed as "a creative space for artists and musicians."

No live music so far when we visited (OK, this was really early in the evening), but there's no lack of booze to keep the imagination flowing.

Frosty beer, spilling over with a cold creaminess to help beat the beat.

Vodka, tequila, rum, gin, whiskey and wine are also available.

No cocktails for now. Page 2's like a counterpoint to The BIG Group's Tate at The Intermark; this is a casual bar, where shorts and slippers won't be frowned upon.

Next up, customers strolling at Publika's open square might have spotted Ben's Bar, an alfresco extension of Ben's restaurant.

Beverages ordered here might sometimes take too long to come, but the ambiance is attractive.

The selection is the same as what Ben's serves; try the Hemingway Daiquiri (rum, sugar, lime, grapefruit, maraschino liquor).

For the teetotaler: Assam Refresher (assam boi, lime, cucumber, soda).

Both open only starting in the evening.
