The Last Polka's Alcoholic Milkshakes

The Last Polka has introduced booze-spiked milkshakes, available only at The Bee in Publika.

Sweet Disposition (Bailey's-Kahlua-Frangelico milkshake with Tim Tam) & Cayman Islands (rum & raisin with Oreos). Both predictably delicious, with a perfect, not-too-thick creaminess, though they're not a substitute for cocktails. The alcohol is discernible but feels negligible.

Stack Shot Billy (vanilla milkshake & Kentucky Bourbon), with The Bee's special Kopi Kao Kao, a rich, refreshing mix of single origin cold-brewed coffee, Kahlua & Guinness Draught.

Keeping the liquor party going a little longer at Morganfield's in Pavilion.
Main entry on Morganfields: August 1, 2011.

Bellini, alongside a Peanut Butter & Jelly shooter (frangelico, chambord).

Red wine & orange juice (how did THAT end up on our table?!?).

  2. alcoholic milkshakes? brilliant idea. then one can drink more and not hit the high note so fast. but the calories can be rather scary. dang...more milkshakes = run more? *faint*

  3. I sampled one of the milkshakes a while back - now I don't remember which one it was, but it was not bad.

    1. Synical: ooo, i wonder if it was the alcoholic or non-alcoholic variety. the alcoholic ones were launched last week and are sold only at the bee in publika but not at jaya one. but i guess even non-alcoholic milkshakes would be very tasty at the hands of the last polka's talented ice cream-makers :D

  6. I've not tried The Bee's food but I love The Last Polka's Salted Gula Melaka and Rum & Raisins (tried them at Marmalade Cafe). This branch is pretty near to my office but drinking it during office hour is kinda bad idea. Haha.
