If you love tacos, La Chica might be your best bet in the city centre - KL's latest Mexican restaurant knows the key to a triumphant taco is a burst of rich, lively flavours and textures.
Thankfully, tacos here come in a choice of crispy corn or soft wheat tortillas (RM12-RM14 each).
There's a taco for every preference here, with multiple proteins, salsas and sauces represented - slow-cooked beef brisket with avocado, radish and mole negro; battered chicken with habanero salsa and coleslaw; battered fish with avocado and pimiento salsa; sautéed shrimp with sun-dried tomatoes, black olives and guacamole grande; smoked duck with mojo orange sauce, pineapple salsa, shredded lettuce and red cabbage; and roasted mushrooms with eggplant, herbed pomegranate salsa and rosemary sour cream.
Absolutely addictive for a taco treat; down with cocktails that span tequila-based concoctions to others with jackfruit-infused spiced rum.
