Nasi Dagang Tranung brings a family recipe all the way from Terengganu to TTDI, relying on its founder's grandmother's preparation in the coastal community of Kuala Ibai.
The essential elements of the classic remain intact, with a mix of slightly sticky beras pulut, three-hour-cooked gulai ikan tongkol for a light fish-based lauk, balanced out with acar timun for a pickled crunch. Not a bad breakfast for RM8.
