Ms. Wong Bao & Tea, Bukit Bintang

How now, brown bao? KL's latest rebooter of steamed buns stuffs slices of smoked duck with sesame seeds and spring onions into mantou (RM10) and minced unagi into house-baked fluffy charcoal buns (RM10), even passing off brioche as bao, served with butter and biscoff spread (RM6). The results could merit investigation if you're a die-hard bao buff, downed with Yunnan spring white tea.

  1. Ms Wong sounds Foochow but I guess other dialects have that surname too.
