Daun, Petaling Jaya

Branching off from PJ’s popular Pokok cafe, Daun is a dessert-focused offshoot with a friendly charm of its own. House-baked cakes take a leaf out of lovely Southeast Asian inspirations, including the fragrantly creamy, jelly-layered Sirap Bandung cake and the gently nutty Apam Balik cake (RM15 each).

Daun KL
Level 2, Block B, Mahsa Avenue, Off Jalan Universiti, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Open Tues-Sun, 10am-9pm.

  1. If there's pokok, there's bound to be daun! I guess I can be down (or daun as they say) for some locally inspired flavours for cakes. I thought I could only drink sirap bandung...hihihi! ;)

    1. Contact.ewew: i guess with teh tarik cakes and cendol cakes already becoming common in kl's cafes, the next cake someone could make is a teh o ais limau cake :D

  4. Those rattan chairs are good to see but can be quite uncomfortable if sit longer on it. Paitred with some cushions would be much appreciated. ^__^
