Showcasing four sambals, Stadium Chin Woo’s new Onz Nasi Lemak spices up its starchy-sticky, crave-worthy crowd-pleaser with choices of Sambal Tempoyak (mellow with a mild fermentation), Pedas (sweat-sparking), Manis (sweet with eight-hour-simmered shallots) and Signature (a rich-textured balance of spicy and sweet).

Set by the pool, this satisfying lunch should hit the spot for many nasi lemak fans - a well-portioned platter starts at RM7.90 with two sambals. Ayam berempah is available; drumsticks and thighs are fried to order in the morning and might require a half-hour wait.

Fun fact: One of Onz’s founders is from Sabah (he runs Kota Kinabalu’s Nook Cafe), so sambal tuhau - Borneo’s wild ginger - could someday be a special here.
