Every lunchbox sold by Bajet Bento is prepared by underprivileged families in the Klang Valley, seeking to help them earn a sustainable livelihood.
With different lunch offerings Monday through Friday, these meals span sup bihun to nasi lemak and nasi biryani - we recently tried a Wednesday special on Bajet Bento's Lighthouse Menu (based in Bangsar; its current other menus hail from Taman Desa and Cheras), a lovely Butter Chicken (RM8), with perfectly cooked poultry in sauce that's rich and creamy but not overpowering or cloying. Our box came with moist rice and kangkung for a balanced lunch. The Lighthouse Menu also includes possibilities like Lemon Chicken, Spicy Tomato Chicken and Chilli Chicken on other days. Deliveries are between 1130am-230pm.
