Kajang's popular Itik Salai Masthar has launched its latest offshoot in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, a conveniently located stall for smoked duck and chicken swimming in Negeri Sembilan-style masak lemak cili api, aromatic with coconut milk and turmeric. RM7 for a bowl of duck, RM5.50 for the chicken - fair prices for fleshy, tasty meat. Note: While the masak lemak curry might not be too fiery, the sambal that's served with the rice is super-spicy.
