Hello Darling @ Helsinki Design District

An afternoon can be well spent wandering through Helsinki's Design District, brimming with distinctive purveyors of all sorts of accessories, as well as hole-in-the-wall cafes like Hello Darling, where temptations include well-prepared poached eggs with salmon, kale & avocado hollandaise on English muffins; blueberry-coconut chia puddings; & the local skumppa bubbly drink.

  1. ...nice to see you. It's been a long time... That's Conway Twitty but I prefer the version by Lynn Anderson - we had the record, flipside of her Rose Garden vinyl single! :D

    1. Suituapui: wah, I'm pleasantly surprised that you know Conway Twitty! That's not a name that most folks here still know, especially those born from the '70s onwards ;)

  2. The food servings are rather dainty. I heard that the Finnish are very fit and lead a healthy lifestyle. Perhaps that explains the small portions of food, unlike America serving sizes.
