Jack Rabbit & Sea Bounty @ Geelong & The Bellarine, Australia

Jack Rabbit is a winery perched on the Bellarine Peninsula with serenely scenic views of a coastal vineyard and bay.

The establishment's restaurant offers wine tasting everyday, enabling visitors to sample a trophy-winning Sauvignon Blanc partnered with lunch menus that include blue swimmer crab cakes, dill-infused rainbow trout, smoked duck breast & mussels.

Also on this leisurely route between Melbourne & the Great Ocean Road, it's worth stopping by Sea Bounty, a family-owned oyster & mussel farming company. Angasi oysters are available for tasting by appointment - they're creamy & totally delicious.

  5. Woo, I love those fresh oysters. I remembered I visited one oyster farm in Tasmania many years ago. The oysters were left in the fridge, no one was there. We opened the fridge and helped ourselves, after that just put the money in the tin box, hehehe.
