Taman Desa's new prawn and pork noodle house, Auntie May Noodle House is rooted in the family recipes of a Rawang kopitiam stall that stretches back to 1998.
Specialities include the Signature Teochew Prawn Mee - the broth is boiled with prawn heads and shells plus chicken bones instead of pork bones, resulting in a lighter texture that remains rich in flavour, robust with house-blended sambal, shrimp, pork slices, ribs and egg.
Also popular is the Radish Pork Noodle, recommended in a peppery herbal pork bone broth that's slow-simmered for 12 hours, with a choice of hor fun, mee or mee hoon for the noodles.
