Shiratoya Cafe is PJ’s latest destination for daifuku delicacies, crafted by a Japanese wagashi chef who lives in Malaysia.
Its seasonal selection might include handmade strawberry chocolate daifuku, delightfully supple and stretchy (a recent Valentine’s special), plus regular daikfuku with fresh cream and matcha powder, as well as kinako or hojicha warabi mochi with gula merah sauce, perfectly paired with a genmaicha latte.
Shiratoya is less than three months old in Kelana Jaya, with a limited dine-in section. It has also launched a separate kiosk in The Starhill for patrons in the city centre.
