We visited Micasa All Suite Hotel to explore the Citarasa Khazanah buffet at Shiso Dining.
Indulge in the top temptation of Marinated Whole Lamb with a secret blend of eight aromatic spices, wood-roasted for two hours for a smoky char. The crisp skin and supple meat shine with a clean, clear flavour for this lovable lamb, cooked at the alfresco live station alongside Chicken and Beef Satay with peanut sauce.
The buffet showcases a rotating line-up of dozens of delicacies that change daily, such as Crunchy Deep-Fried Flower Crab and Crispy Fried Chicken, both featuring fragrant spices and herbs such as cumin, turmeric and fennel. We also love the traditional treats like Banana Fritters, Tofu Bergedil and authentic Keropok Lekor Terengganu.
Other crowd favourites for carnivorous cravings include the Perak-style Beef Rendang, rich and robust with punchy flavours, and the Paru-Paru with Chilli Paste and Onions, terrifically tender and full-bodied. We also enjoyed the Briyani Rice, patiently prepared with sumptuous seasonings, and Bubur Lambuk, savoury and soulful.
From start to end, the buffet promises pleasurable satisfaction - from Classic Ulam-Ulaman, Kerabu and Fresh Rojak Buah to perk up your palate to Malay Kuih, Bubur Chacha, Bubur Pulut Jagung, Tau Fu Fah and assorted mini cakes and ice cream to placate your sweet tooth.
