Soft-launched in Mont Kiara, Belly & Mel brings together two beloved cafe brands for the first time, fusing the Belly and Mel F&B families.
Inspirations from both are woven into the kitchen, bakery and coffee bar, from Belly’s Oceanic Blast pasta inspired by fish head noodles to Mel’s Ebi Nori prawn ceviche taco, making this a terrific one-stop for fans of both brands.
Playful Asian influences spice up the selection, spanning Szechuan-spiced duck confit with risotto to grilled sea bass with century egg chilli ragu. Even the (not-classic) carbonara is made distinctive with dashes of fermented beancurd.
Beverages channel cool creativity too - the Camelia Yin Yong (oolong tea layered with coffee and milk) and Kumquat Suan Mei Tang (salty-sour and smooth with Mandarin plum) make for a satisfying Sunday sip.
