Butter & Spice and everything nice: SS2’s new neighbourhood bakery-cafe is a sunshine-soaked sanctuary for distinctive delights with Japanese flourishes - fresh-from-the-oven Parmesan paprika shio pan, chocolate orange pain suisse, kinako red bean mochi cruffins and charcoal matcha flans. Also try the tartine, thickly topped with potato tamago and mentaiko mayo.
Fun fact: Butter & Spice is the sister cafe of Kona Bakehouse next door.
