Sombre in the city centre? Seek solace in Bukit Bintang's new cafe, soft-launching this Thursday, 22 June, serving open sandwiches, pastas and bakes for the carb-craving spirit and brews for the caffeine-crazed soul.
Solace was still in final touch-ups when we popped by, with ladders, leaves and lights being refitted, but it feels like a welcoming refuge - look for KH and his friendly team.
Keep an eye out for Solace's sunny-side-up flower logo. Solace takes over from what was formerly Underwood Bakers, with new ownership and management.
