The Maple Smoked Biscoff S'mores Latte at Subang's Moka & Grain might look like a novelty, but it's well worthwhile - a swirl of espresso and Biscoff, topped with a toasted marshmallow on pretzel sticks, smoked at the table with maple wood chips. The result is soothingly, sweetly biscuity, fragrantly smoky with a delicate depth (RM16).
This friendly cafe is serious about its fundamentals too - its signature roast is the Timber, a blend of Brazil Minas Gerais and Sumatra Gayo Aceh, promising chocolaty notes of hazelnut and cashew.
For now, croissants and cakes are available, but the menu's highlight of Neapolitan-inspired pizzas is expected next month.
