Returning to the rhythm of the ristretto, veteran Malaysian barista Cheryl Lee recently launched Petaling Jaya’s latest hidden coffee bar, tiny and cosy, bright and white, sunshine-laden and leaf-loving.
Rhythm’s coffee is fragrantly satisfying, the hallmark of a polished professional. The fresh-every-morning desserts are deliciously conceived, from the jasmine green tea chiffon, pillowy and aromatic, made extra-textured with almonds and extra-tasty with coffee caramel sauce (RM10), to crunchy-creamy blueberry cheese tarts layered with juicy berries over a jammy bottom (RM13).
