Nasi Kukus Mama Sab's namesake recipe is a joy - warm rice drenched in a delicious gulai gravy, with some fiery sambal & cooling cucumbers on the side; have it with fresh-from-the-kitchen ayam kampung goreng, hot & juicy, for a very satisfying lunch. Other possible accompaniments range from paru goreng & daging dendeng to ikan tongkol & ikan keli. If you need more grainy goodness, the nasi lemak more than passes muster, sufficiently fragrant & flavoursome. Note that the restaurant switches mainly to fried kuey teow & other noodles at night.
