Cheras’ charming new W2 Concept Cafe teams up toys and treats for a fun, friendly and fulfilling escape.
Highlights include a hearty nasi lemak recipe that W2’s Sarawak-born chef inherited from his grandmother, coupling creamy rice with creamier ayam rendang, rounded out with pineapple acar to accompany the sides. Only five portions are prepared fresh everyday, served in a steamer basket.
Pair with playful Bubur ChaCha Kopi, a coconut-loving oat milk latte, blanketed with whipped purple sweet potato foam, textured with a base of tiny sago balls.
Fun fact: W2 refers to the cafe’s founder, Wei Wei, whose mom enjoys collecting Pop Mart designer toys.
