Los Tacos' tortilla temptations might be the Klang Valley's beefiest and burliest - the beef birria tacos and burritos are plump and chunky with shredded, succulently slow-cooked beef, making them as meaty and macho as Mexican fare gets. Chipotle chicken and vegetarian-friendly plant-based patty varieties are also available (tacos cost RM6.50-RM8.50; burritos RM8.50-RM10.50).
Quesatacos, layered with thick melted cheese, are worthwhile, as are complete meals of tomato-tinged rice with beans and beef birria stew (RM11.50). Prices are modest for this cuisine; a rich birria consommé starts at RM3, served hot, soulful and savoury.
